Trinity and Alex

Alex helping cook.
A great picture of Trinity. Smiling and all.

Not planned or told to give kisses. Just loves his sisters

Look how much they look a like. It is crazy.

Happy Birthday Donovan

Look who is five!! I can't believe it. My baby is five years olds. Almost ready to go school. Donovan is with his Dad this year for his birthday. He was just a little bit spoiled. How time flies? He even got to sing in his first Christmas program. Hopefully we'll be able to see it soon. I love you buddy.

Trinity Update

Trinity is starting to get food. Well baby food. She really likes cereal. I started her a couple of weeks ago and she eats like a champ. Waiting a little longer to start the solids has its benefits.
This was her first time so a little more messy than she is now.

Started her on fruit but I am not sure that is what you do. Fruit and Vegs first? I can't remember. I would rather eat the fruit so that is what I choice. She doesn't really like the fruit yet but with more of an effort it will come. But can I just say how expensive baby food is. She is almost 6 months old and wearing 9 month old clothes. She doesn't miss very many meals.

Sibling love

This is one of my favorite pictures. When I was little we have pictures of me doing this to Laura. Oh how much we love each other. Alex was doing this all on his own I just made him do it again so we could take a picture. No Trinity is not big enough to sit by herself but I was letting her rest and Alex wanted to sit by her. Allan even got Trinity to smile and Alex was actually wanting to take pictures.

Thanksgiving

Allan's sisters and mom came out for Thanksgiving. It was great. We haven't seen everyone since last Thanksgiving. This was Allan's sisters first time to see our new house and Trinity. We had a full house and loved every minute of it. And just so everyone knows we have room for all the people to have their own room but one. But once the bonus room is finished their will be enough room for more. It was my first time cooking dinner. A little stressful but it turned out well. I know how to time things a little better now. Ate a little earlier than I expected but it was well worth it. I made pie crust for the first time and everyone loved it. I ended up making four pumpkin pies and they were all gone. Allan's family loves pumpkin pie. Me not so much so I made a peacon pie which was great. Allan made the insides I made the crust. It was great team work.
Derick brother in law enterained Trinity with his playing skills. He took all the pictures. Love them!
Trinity was well loved by her aunts. She is still kinda a mommies girl. But thanks to two great sisters I was able to have a break.
Ike made great yams with marshmellows. Got to love marshmellows with anything.

Grandma and most of the grandkids. Missing Donovan and Trinity. Trinity was sleeping finally. This is on Tabby Mountain. Great view.

My favorite picture of Trinity. Yep putting this one on my wall.

Time Out for Women

Time Out for Women
This past weekend Laura invited me to go to Time out for Women. I was not sure I really wanted to go but it was well worth it. My fears in going were I didn't want it to be like conference and board out of my mind. But after attending it was the extact opposite. I can't tell you how great and inspiring it was to attend this conference. It was a realaxed atomsphere with great stories. Even Elder Nielsen's wife spoke to us. It was great. If you get the chance to go take it. There is events in Logan and Orem sign up fast because there are only 1800 spots available. I linked it above.

New Beds

Before Donovan left I was willing to try anything so that boys would sleep by themselves. Alex does okay until Daddy spoiled him. But I don't blame Daddy for that. Anyways we bought new bunk beds. The boys loved them. Only wanted to play on the top bunk and not sleep. Finally I got them to sleep in the bottom together. But now Donovan just sleeps with his Dad (Derrick) and Alex sleeps with his dad too. I am hoping sooner than later Alex will be in his bed. I have tried everything to get them to sleep in their own bed. And to just think soon it will potty training time. Help ME

Trick-or-treat

We started the day off early and went firewood cuting. It wasn't ment to be early but we were up so we might as well make the most of the day.
Trinity in here second Halloween costume. I just wanted her to wear this for fun.

We were slacking on pictures and this is the only one of Alex in his full costume. Yep Alex decided to be a ninja. Not batman. I think it was because Aidan was a ninja. Good thing we have lots of costumes. Alex wasn't so sure about this asking people for candy but once he got some he liked it a lot. Allan and him sat in the car and ate a ton of candy.

Trinity in her cute costume. Nobody knew what she was but I thought she was cute. Thanks Laura.

Pumpkin Carving

Grandma Sue and Grandpa Kit bringing the giantic pumpkins. Alex carrying the treats because the pumpkins are too big.

Alex decorating them.
Alex did a great job of showing us how to carve the pumpkins and for the most part me stayed true to what he wanted. One pumpkin was all circle and the other was squared with Allan's added touches.

Alex is shooting all the bad guys.

Enormous Pumpkins

Look at all the fun when Grandpa Kit digs for huge pumpkins and Grandma Sue brings new pillow cases.
The new way to carve pumpkins!

No one of these pictures turned out. Always one of us was looking away.

Bapitism

This weekend I got bapitized. It was a great day. Mom, Kit, Laura, and Matt came out. I was a little nervous but it was easier than I thought it would be. Thanks to such great missionairies and Tracy for guiding me and the right direction. Nothing could have made this week any better if we were sick. Hopefully no one else got sick.

Batman and Spider Man

We started dressing up early. Donovan was being spiderman so Alex wanted to dress up. Thanks to Grandma Sue for the capes.

Here is Trinity. No costume for her. I was going to go get the duck costume Alex had when he was this little but I never did. I think I am going to make here a candy corn this year. I just have to get it done. I know only one picture of poor Trinity.

The best part about all this dressing up is we have some good video. It is forever long so you'll have to come to our house if you want to watch it.

San Diego Trip

First stop fish seeing spot. This octopus was very active. Allan took an amazing picture.

Getting eaten by a shark!

Second stop the beach!!! Wow was the water cold. Alex didn't want anything to do with it and Donovan loved it.

Alex liked digging though.

Donovan being tackled by the waves.

San Diego Zoo. What a big zoo and we walked it all.

Two monkeys!

This Panda was pretty funny. After eating it turns around on the rock and poops. The takes a long nap.

Donovan biff it trying to get off.
