Playing in the Snow

Sunday the snow was coming down hard. We got to play outside. This picture is great of Trinity and Tom (allan's dad). She was frozen or close to because she just kept eating the snow.
Got to love the snow. She even got into throwing snowballs.

Alex helping grandpa Tom with the snow blower. A little scary at first because it shoots snow.

Allan has to play with the new toy.

Trinity and Alex hiding from the snowblower. Trinity is still trying to get comfortable with the snow.

Love this picture of Alex
Trinity playing in the snow. Pocatello got dump on probably close to 7 inches of snow that day. Good thing we were able to stay an extra day. We had a great time.

Thanksgiving in Pocatello

We went to Allan's Dad's house for Thanksgiving this year. It was a great time. I was nervous about the roads but no big deal. We left Wednesday and saw lot of accidents but we made it safely. Then instead of coming home on Sunday when it was snowing we waited until Monday. It all worked out. Alex checking out the ads over breakfast. Notice he had to have his light on.

Trinity was fun to dress up as a reindeer. They were dog clothes.

Trinity's favorite was the toy playpin. She was in and out, in and out. Babies had to be with her. It was funny.>

Then we got to see Santa Claus arrive by airplane. I don't know what happened to the photos. Alex loved it even with the cold. I thought it was pretty cool. Only Allan was the one to say the helicopter was cheesy but how many people know that was only a training helicopter.

Then we made gingerbread houses with cousin. Emma's kids came and helped. There was a boy house on the left and a girl house of the right. THey turned out great. Allan had to have the airplane in the picture.

Then we went to the light parade. Cold, cold, Cold. It was great. ALex learned if you say Merry Christmas they gave you candy.

New Sidewalks

Yeah! After working all summer we got sidewalks. Thankfully we had some awesome help and got it all done. Here is everyone edging. Allan, Jerry in the far back, Cecil, and Charlie.

Even after smashing fingers in door Alex still loved having the cement truck at our house. Now he needs a cement truck.

Making it smooth

Making it look good
Three days after we poured it snowed. Trinity is helping clear the side walk. She doesn't like wearing snow hats.

After working so hard clearing off the sidewalks.

Pumpkin Carving

Grandma Sue grew huge pumpkins and brought them to our house. Close to Halloween we carved them. Linzie gave the best knifes to carve with. Even Trinity could do it. Alex making sure we are all do a good job.
Alex didn't like pulling out the insides. He drew his own face and Allan is good enough that he carved exactly what he drew.

Trinity getting in on the action.

Alex's pumpkin. Oh wait Jack-o-lantern. He always reminds me it is not a pumpkin because it has a face.

Mine is the boring one that is tradition, Alex's in the middle, and Allan's on the right side. THey turned out cute. We didn't do Trinity one but next year.
