January Catch-up

Allan's office had this huge box and we took it home against Allan's will and made a cool house to play in. The kids love it. Even my preschoolers love it. Watching them fit ten in it and Trinity is pretty funny.
Getting ready to go to church while Donovan was still here. I have a handsome bunch.

Trinity got her first hair cut and a new do. If only her mom could keep up with the new do. I am so not a hair person. If anyone wants to come show me how please do.

Testing out our new presents. Thanks to Grandma Cindy for the aprons. Everyone loves wearing them even after they are done cooking.

Finally finished. Just before a new baby. This is Trinity's baby blanket. So maybe this baby can had its when it is almost 2.

Snowmen

Let it snow! Let it snow! We went to pick Donovan up on Dec 18 leaving with it snowing a lot but never expecting to come home to 2 feet of snow when it was raining in the city. So instead of unloading the car, plowing the drive way, the kids and I decided to make a snow man. The first of many. Allan was worried about all the snow he had to push so he did all the hard work.

The first snow man. Not very many people got to see it because is snowed so much that night and rained that he fell over before anyone could see him. But it was fun.
Then we decided to make a little snowman. Well, I decided to make a little snowmen. Everyone wanted to go outside. So they played while I built snowmen. It was fun. Here is the Trinity snowman. Donovan helped get the face all together.

This was the last snowman built for Christmas break. The snow wasn't very good toward the end so it was the last. It was suppose to be kind of small but it wasn't. We got about 4 ft of snow.

This is the snow family we built out front. Due to so much so you can't see the family anymore but they are still standing. Alex wanted to eat snow and not take a picture. There is a snowman for everyone and a snow for in the left corner because we have to have snowball fights.
I loved all the snow we got. It was so much fun playing outside - it was warm -sledding for two hours, make tracks for the dump trucks, etc.

Happy Birthday Donovan and Hannah

I can't believe my little boy is six! Oh wait I can't believe he is in Kindergarten! So I guess he is no longer a little boy. How time flys. A friend showed me the cake she made her son and Donovan had to have it. Yes, I attempted to make a cake again but this was way easy. Got it off of family fun. Even Alex wants one so that he can have a dirt bike.

Donovan got new clothes because he only had shorts from this summer, a boat so that he can go fishing (pretend), books, and everyone got a remote control helicopter that only worked for a couple of hours. Dang.

Since I have gestational diabetes my mom and Kit found a sugar free cheese cake. Yeah! I got a rice cooker and a subscribtion to netflix. No more renting movies and if you live in the middle of nowhere like me it is great having. I am ready to get rid of tv but Allan has to watch football. All in all we were just glad that we were all together after tons of snow and that we had Donovan to celebrate with.

Christmas 2010

We decorated our tree with lots of help. Trying to put all breakable ornaments up top but Trinity found ones that could break at the bottom. Who knew. Alex is being a great big brother to help Trinity stay by the tree. Only way to get a picture though was flexing our mucles. Notice Trinity shaking.

Trinity got to help put up the star this year. She was so excited. It was sad doing it without Donovan but we saved some of his ornaments for him to hang up.

I brought up Donovan's carseat for when he was coming home and Trinity loved sitting in it pushing it all over the house to sit and play. She found a great spot.

> Christmas morning Alex loved playing with his garabage truck. We might as well not have bought anymore presents because he didn't want to open any more. He wanted to play with his garabage trucks.
Trinity loved her baby and stroller. That is what she did all morning and then would come back to see what her brothers opened for her. It was cute.>Donovan's stocking was never ending. He thought he would never get done.

Trinity in the mess.
Family pictures. I thought I picked the best ones but now realize that they weren't good picks. I know we got good ones or at least okay ones. It is hard with kids. Look at my big fat belly.
