Happy 4th Birthday

I just like this picture so I put it in. They aren't 4.

Alex has been telling us when he is 4 he will take off the training wheels off his bike so the weekend before we did. I don't think that he likes it very much but he is getting it. Just lots more practice.





Trinity found a new use for the sink in our Kitchen. Rocky did it first and then she had too. It was funny.

So we have been counting down for Alex's birthday forever. Meaning we had to start in April talking about when his birthday was. So when it finally became May he thought it was his birthday. No he had 26 more days but it finally came and he couldn't believe it. A couple of days before his birthday I am sitting on the couch and Alex is sitting with me and we are looking outside. Mom? he says. What Alex? We need to get a sheep. Now realize last year I said he had to wait until he was 4 before he could ride a sheep at the fair. Now I forgot about this for a second because he reminds me frequently that is what he is going to do but realize I forgot. So I was thinking, well maybe we can get a sheep. So I say, "Why do you want a sheep?" "So I can practice." and off he went. I died laughing.

Okay so here is Alex with his mug that he got from Grandma sue.



His forklift that he asked for. Do you know how hard it is too find things that they want.

I tried my handy work at making a backhoe cake because he has been talking about this since Donovan's birthday. Yep almost 6 months.

Trinity had to get in on some action.

Mothers Day

So for Mother's day weekend I really just wanted all our weeds burned. So we burned weeds. I should say Allan burned weeds. Our yard looks a lot better even if it is still dirt. Thanks Allan

Then we cooked in our firepit. Notice Alex's fire behind him in the tree.
Walmart had huge marshmellows so I had to get them and try them out. Huge mess and I don't really love them as much as the smaller ones but they were fun. Over all a great weekend.

Easter 2011

> We started Easter weekend at the Tabby Easter egg hunt. A first for us. Freezing cold, tons of candy and eggs, and lot of fun. Alex was picking up candy everywhere. He just got a late start not knowing about all of this. Got to love his Easter bag.

Trinity on the other hand had not problem figuring out what she needed to do. Picking up candy, one piece at a time but she managed.

Then my dad made it out to see us that evening. We were planning on getting together for Christmas but the weather was terrible so we made it happen for Easter. The kids loved it. Trinity got a baby, Alex got a remote control car, Donovan the same but he doesn't know it, and they all got nerf guns. Watch out Trinity is deadly. We can have all out war at our house now.

Then we had to dy eggs. It was a lot better for Trinity this year and she was well supervised after the first egg just got dumped in the jar.

Alex was having fun. I don't know why we didn't change out of our nice clothes oh well they did good.


Coming home from Church we got to have our Easter egg hung. Alex was so excited about getting a mitt and ball he forgot to get candy. Trinity she loved getting the candy. The pile of Jelly beans has to be picked up one bean at a time. It took forever.

Pre-Easter

We had a friend pass away before Easter so mom and Kit came out to go to the funeral and the kids got to have Easter. Trinity showing off her findings.
Alex couldn't be more excited about the mini lego tractor set he got. Way excited. I don't love all the pieces around but he loves it.

Grandma and Grandpa worn out the poor kids. It worked out having mom and Kit here because I had to get the lump removed on my neck- nothing serious - so they took the kids while I had that done. They were very tired when they got home.
