Hopeland Gardens with Grandma Sue

Before Grandma left we took her to one of our favorite spots.  The weather was just right to be outside.
So sweet Trinity trying to help Aubrie take a picture who wanted nothing to do with it.
The only picture we got of Aubrie when she wasn't crying.  Yep she was tired.
Look how happy she was.  The sun was too bright.
I saw a cool lizard and the kids were trying to find it.  It was blue with a red tail.  Who knows if it was good or bad.
Well I think this tells you how good pictures went this day.  Donovan is so photogentic and always does good for pictures.  If Alex wants to he does okay for pictures.  Trinity we are still learning how to smile.  Aubrie good luck but she does great mean faces.

Swimming

We had to go swimming to race grandma Sue.  Of course we had a blast and it was a perfect day.  Cloudy will little rain.
Good luck trying to get everyone to look.  We got close.
Jumping off the side all by herself.  Love it.  She was getting so comfortable in the water.
Everyone jump in at once.  Love this picture.
Aubrie thrilled to be in the water with Grandma Sue.  Yep when mom is around that is all she wants.
Love this picture.

Atlanta Falcons

Allan bought preseason tickets to the Falcons game.  Way cool!!!  Probably would have been better if we didn't go with Trinity and Aubrie but oh well it was still fun.  Took me almost 30 years to go to an NFL game and my kids are 7, 5, 3, and 1. Crazy.

Since the game was so late we stayed the night and went to the Coca Cola factory.  Pretty cool place.  Alot of look at my collection, a movie ride that moves, and a tasting station -Alex's favorite.
The coke bear.  Trinity was afraid before she found out that he was nice.
Donovan bought a football and we all played in the grass between the aquariam and coke factory.

Nice catch!!!

Bike Riding

During Grandma Sue's visit we did a lot of bike riding.  Alex had to practice his new skill.  Trinity caught on to riding really fast and is sometimes brave enough to go down little hills.
Aubrie loves being outside.   Mostly to eat dirt but she loves outdoors.
Serious Alex riding his bike.  Luckily it rained almost every night while mom was here so it wasn't terrible hot.  The humidy wasn't great but we will take what we can get.
 Donovan loves the camera.
Just trying to capture Aubrie's looks that she gives.  I have about ten pictures of her riding her bike.  Did she smile once - no!
Another grouchy face.  Walking to the park so we can ride around in circles.  Aubrie was very happy to play in water puddles.  Daddy wasn't happy that I let her but she had fun.
Then the sprinklers came on.  Donovan started it all.  The kids had fun.

Tea Party

One of the things we wanted to do while Grandma Sue was here was to have a tea party.  I made fancy colored bread.  Yep looks like play dough.  It was good.
 Grandma made fancy sandwiches.
Getting the tea ready for Aubrie.  Had to add a little sugar.
 Just take a little sips.
Nope it is too good to take little sips must drink all at once.  She did this several times.
 Trinity pouring her own tea.
 Putting some sugar in it.
 Carefully stir it.
Now take a sip.  Finger up!  She loved it.  Next time I need to make little cookies.  Sorry Grandpa Kit you missed it.

Edisto Beach

Since Grandma Sue came to visit we thought we would head to the beach.  We have heard we needed to try Edisto so there we went.  The day was perfect.  Aubrie loved playing in the sand.

My expectations of what the beach was going to be like were Allan and Donovan would play in the water and everyone else in the sand on the beach.  Well obviously Alex is over his fear of water and was loving the ways.  The water was so warm, I loved it.
The boys hanging out.  We saw dolphins swimming too.
Donovan riding the waves

Donovan playing in the water.
We taught them how to ride the waves.  This was a good ride by Alex.  This was too funny.  THe boys were finding shells out in the ocean and Donovan found one.  Alex listen to the ocean.  So funny.
I dug out a little pool for Aubrie to play in.  THis is where she was so happy.  She didn't love the big ocean but this little pool was perfect.  I loved it too because I could look for shells.
Trinity loved the water also.  I couldn't believe these were my kids playing in the water, not freaking out when they got water in their eyes.  It was so much fun.  I was glad my mom was there because with 3 in the water and 1 on land it would have been difficult to keep track of everyone.  I made the pool bigger.  Trinity laying in the pool with Aubrie.  Aubrie loved laying in it.  She would even drink it - yuck!
Love this.  I am so glad for some of the time my kids get along and really are best friends.
Waiting to be carried to the car and rinsed off.  We shuttle them so it would be less sand on everyone and they entertained themselves well.
 Having fun!
So tired.  We ate an awesome dinner and they were out.  Didn't take long.
So tired!
This so far is my favorite beach.  We still need to try Hunting and Hilton Head.
