Trinity Ann

Having a girl has brought many adventures and new things into our world. Yes, I have lots of bow pictures because I have no bows at home. This was the first baby that I got started. Trinity in my book was late even though she really had two weeks to go, she was late. Luckly, Dr. Notle started me on Tuesday but I was really in labor I just didn't know it.
I was nervous and scared all morning because I was purposely going into labor. I was going to have to experience a lot of pain. Never had an epiderral before so I was expecting lots of pain. Got an epiderral but really I don't think it worked how it was suppose to. Three hours later we got a beautiful little girl.
Alex was excited to see mommy but not so sure about a baby. He liked touching her on the head but even since we have been home has kind of ignoring her. It will be an adjustment.

Happy Father's Day

Yep! I am slow, slow, slow. Alex was a big helper with opening presents and wrapping them. I was trying to surprise Allan but when a little boy is yelling fish it is hard to keep anything a secert. Then to come and find out Allan already found his present so there was not surprises there. I know this doesn't sound like a great father's day but we went up North Fork and got rocks for our walk way.

During dinner we were talking and Allan has been a dad for 3.5 years. I was like no Alex is only 2 but he was around when Donovan was 9 months old. 3.5 years of being a dad and he is doing a great job even though he has missed some fishing trips.

Trinity Ann...

The most beautiful little angel
in the great wide world.
Came down from the sky
on a shooting star.
And just happened to arrive on what would become
a most wonderful day.
Oh her parents are blessed
in all the most awesome ways.

Trinity Ann - 7lbs, 15oz, 20" in length

We love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grandpa Tom's Visit

Allan's dad came out for a visit, hoping for a baby but instead had many adventures traveling and seeing the country. The weather wasn't all the terrific; rain on and off but we were still able to see many things. Here is Alex and Grandpa but the river in North Fork. Yep, don't know that name. I wasn't a very good tour guide because I don't pay attention to river names. It's a river.

Here we are at the river. We got a ton of pictures and Alex was actually wanting to look at the camera. Lots of hiking and exploring.
Than we went over blind stream. First making sure it wasn't going to be too bumpy. We played in the snow. It was snowing on us once we got to the top. Allan told me that going over blind stream takes us into Rock Creek. Probably bothering Allan and Tom I kept asking if they thought Stillwater dam would be spilling over.

Lucky for me this is what we saw coming over the hills. I was so happy. I think it is a pretty cool thing to watch a dam spill over when they said it never would.

Then we went to Yellowpine campground and played on the bridges. Alex loves throwing anything off the bridge. He is starting to sound like Donovan too. After every throw he would ask "see that" Donovan always says that.

Grandpa brought kites and we were able to fly kites. There is an airplane, dinosaur, and fish. The first two are a little hard to fly for Alex so we brought out the fish one. All kinds of fun. We had a good visit with Grandpa now maybe he will visit more because we showed him many fishing holes.

No nap

This it what happens when little boys don't take naps.
It was a little rainy and Allan wanted to drag the yard for a little bit. Not five minutes and Alex already had heavy eyes. Pretty funny.

Tractor ride

Alex loves his tractor rides. Not only rides but tractors too. Everything that we see is called a tractor. Even dump trucks. Allan always tells Alex what they really are and Alex's reply is "No tractor." I think it is kinda funny. Ever since the tractor rides Alex will always ask for tractor rides. At frist if you told him no he would start to cry and getting really mad. No he ask for tractor rides and you say no then he asks for a four wheel ride. He knows how to work the system.

Pictures

This is our garden. Hopefully something will grow. Here is our trees that we bought. Red Maple and a Ash tree. Our yard is looking good.

Yard Work

Allan has been working really hard on getting our yard up and going. He is probably just tired of his wife telling him how much she hates a mud yard. But he has been working hard. All of last week he was able to borrow a tractor from the Gines and move dirt to the front from the back. Alex thought this was the greatest thing because he was able to ride the tractor forever. He loved it so much he even fell asleep on it. So all the dirt is moved now racking and leveling have to take place. It is coming together. I am not help. Just being bossy and annoying telling Allan he isn't doing it right or fast enough. I think it just comes from me not being able to do anything. I really hate being pregnant. Allan has been all done with the tractor for a while but Alex will still ask for rides and really get mad when you say no. So if anyone wants to give out presents to Alex just buy him a real tractor. Sorry no pictures. We also bought two trees and planted them today. We can only afford two a year so we decided that these were Alex and Donovan's trees and next year the trees can be Allan's and the baby's. Thanks Allan for all the hard work I know it hasn't been easy.

Happy Birthday Alex

Happy Birthday Alex!!! Alex is two and after much practice he can show you he is two. Donovan was a big help in teaching Alex how to do two. I know Alex's birthday was on the 26th but with school coming to and end, being exhausted, and already celebrating his birthday once I am slow. Alex takes after his Great Grandma Janney and loves chocolate everything. For both cakes with had chocolate cake and chocolate frosting. Geotracks the greatest train system on earth, came out with airplanes to go with the train track system. Alex got a yellow plane but Donovan wanted it more. Another dump truck was given to Alex from Grandma Sue (thank you) so now the boys do not have to fight over dump trucks. Alex also got a kite. It was great. We were able to fly it a lot over mother's day (that is when the first celebration was) to fly the kite. Alex let go of it while in the air. Luckly we have cow fields around us so Allan chased it trough the fields. It was a great birthday. How do they get big so fast.
