Scrapebooking

By no means do I think that I am a scrapebooker. Tracy got me into it. I thought I would give it a try and now I am liking it. Of course there is ton to buy but start small and work your way up. Most of these lay outs we have done as a group. Only a couple have I done on my own. I need to get working on the stamp thing because I just bought some really cool stamps. I think that if I had fabric, Laura, and books I might be sewing a quilt instead but I have non of that. Maybe when Laura is done playing I can do that with my crafty self.

Shoes

Alex woke up from his nap right when I was in the middle of scrapebooking so I took Alex outside to Allan with shoes. "Put these on and I will be out in second."
Well Allan was in a hurry because Dan was coming over to tear up our yard. I go outside and this is what I bring in.

Shoes on the wrong feet. Yes, Allan put them on the wrong feet because he was in a hurry. Does this mean Alex will never have a chance with getting his shoes on right.

Alex is in love with tractors. He would stop everything to watch the tractor. Dan was a good sport and gave him a ride. Alex doesn't look like he is having fun but really he just doesn't like new people.

See You Soon

Last weekend we were very busy playing in the outdoors. Thankfully it was great weather. Donovan was going back to his Dad's on Saturday so we took the time to go fishing. We have had no luck with fishing lately. Partly because Allan is a river fisherman and we have two boys who after 2 minutes of no activity would rather throw rocks in the water. We headed to Strawberry thinking we would catch something. You always see a ton of people around so you woth tink that we could catch something. Nope! Nothing! Not even a bite. But it was pretty. We drove around while the boys took a nap. I never realized how big that lake was. It was a nice trip.

Than as we were getting home Allan so Jerry working in his field. I said why don't we stop and see if the boys can help (play on the tractor). Alex loves tractors. Everything is a tractor: Dump trucks, garabage trucks, backhoes, everything. Donovan got to play on Jerry's tractor. Alex just watched. Donovan even dug his own hole. It was funny because we were trying to leave, Donovan hops off the tractor, we think to get in the truck, to go on the other side to drive it forward to dig some more. He didn't want to leave too bad. Thanks Jerry.

It's always hard to see Donovan leave and it is hard on him too. Hopefully we won't have to do this much longer. One because I can't take it, two because he is tired of always going back and forth. It is hard to think of all the things he is going to miss and what we miss of Donovan while he is gone. I think that hardest adjustment is for Alex. He didn't like the idea of getting in the car and leaving without Donovan. He walks around the house looking in rooms saying "No" because there is no brother. I can't image what goes on in their heads. We love you Donovan and can't wait for you to get home. See you in July!

Car damage

Here is the pictures I promised you. Going through insurance companies is a pain in the butt. It has been three weeks and still my van has not be worked on or fixed because of the insurance. Hopefully sooner than later.

Bike riding

After making a promise to buy a fourwheeler if Donovan will learn to ride his bike, Donovan got right on it. He is pretty good. Still missing some key parts to bike riding but it will come. Hopefully, not any time soon because I can't afford a fourwheeler right now.

Seeing that Donovan had his bike and helment someone else had to get his bike and helment.

Hill Aerospace Museum

I was lucky to spend the weekend with Hannah, Donovan and Alex! I've been working at Hill Airforce Base for the past two weeks (and will be gone for one more) and it really stinks being away from them all. It stinks for all of us but especially my wonderful wife because she is home doing a million different things while I'm away staying in a hotel. Your awesome beautiful!

We went to the Aerospace museum on Saturday and it was way cool. This picture above was Donovan's favorite plane. It's a P40 Warhawk and the cool shark mouth probably had something to with Donovan's love of it. It was great watching Donovan and Alex running through the museum screaming and pointing.

Anyway, now I'm sitting in my room as they drive home and it's a bummer! We forgot our camara so I thought I'd see if I could find some pics on the internet and get something posted for Hannah!
