Busy July

For the 24th we went to Duchesne for the Parade. No we didn't stay for the other activities because it was HOT! I wasn't going to do anything because the next day we were going to go get Donovan and I thought that was too much for me to handle. But Tiffany Fitzgerald was selling flowers and I wanted one for pictures.

She is naked because it was HOT at the Farmers Market. Codie took her pictures the other day so we can't wait to see how they turn out.
Our adventure continued the next day. Allan couldn't come with us to get Donovan because of work. It ended up that he could have but he was in a not win situation. So bare me took Alex and Trinity to the city by myself. side note: I say brave me because that is how I felt but that was only two kids. Two kids are easy!!!
I was surprised at all that I was able to accomplish but I was tired and worried that Trinity would have her fussy moment at any time. But she waited for Donovan to do that.
Anyway I bet many people were laughing at us because I had a stroller and a shopping cart walking through Petco buying 100lbs of dog food. That is when I knew I was nuts.
Went to Laura's for a short rest and tired to go to Costco but it closes at 6:00 on Saturday.
So cutting it close we go to Smith's. Thinking that we would be just right for time we try to get on 215. Still on ramp because of car accident at 7:10. I'm freaking out because I will be late to see Donovan and Trinity is screaming because she is hungry. What can you do when your stuck in traffic? Make it to the airport and two minutes later Donovan is shows up. Just in time.
Trinity welcomes her big brother by screaming feed me now. So not wanting to let go of Donovan who has grown a foot and as beach blonde hair I leave to feed Trinity while they get the suitcase.
After many stops on the way home we finally make it. I'm exausted and wondering why I was ever complaining about have two kids.
The least to say is Donovan loves holding Trinity when I let him and Alex and him are slowly getting along again. Alex has had to rough in five weeks he has gone from only child to sharing with two siblings.

Now I am getting out more but not really wanted to because it takes forever just to get out the door and in the car. My mom said it would take a long time. And soon like in three weeks or less I have to start back work. My classroom is a mess because we moved rooms and I have no idea how teaching two grades the core is going to work yet. But somehow it will all work and if things don't get done I will be thankful I was able to take a shower for the day.

Two Kids

Two kids are hard. I know what you must be thinking, you already have two kids now you have three kids. Yes, I know but right now I have two kids. When Alex was born Donovan was gone for 2 months. It was easy. Alex and I got to adjust to each other, catch up on much needed sleep, and get ready for school before Donovan came home. This time there was no Donovan but there was Alex. There is time to catch up on much needed sleep or getting ready for school. I find at the end of the day I feel like a horrible mom because I feel like I didn't spend enough time with Alex either reading or spending time with him. Also I am lucky if I get to take a shower. Sleep always wins over a shower. How do you mom's out there do it? By the time Allan gets home I am either going crazy because I think of all the things that didn't get done and I would like to get done. Not only am I struggling with two kids next weekend, July 25 Donovan will be coming home and I will get to adjust to three kids. But maybe that will be easier because Alex will have someone to play with. Also Donovan is a lot bigger help than Alex even though Alex is a helper it just takes twice as long.

Summer

After all the rain in June we had a ton of mud. Alex was in heaven.
This picture is getting ready for Doc appointment. Messy after just 10 minutes.
The rain helped with our garden and our little section of grass that we planted.

Here's our carrots. Since I am so good at gardening when do I need to thin them.
Here are the beets.
Here is the lettuce. When do I need to pick it?

Peas and onions.
Pumkins are the two right and the rest are squash.

This is what Trinity does while we play outside.

This is Alex's attire for playing outside.

Trinity

Alex is ignoring Trinity less but still isn't so sure about the whole thing. He calls her baby sister and Nemo fish because Trinity is hard for him to say. I mean come on he just barely got Donovan down to where you understand he is saying Donovan.

Happy Birthday Allan

Happy Birthday!!!!
Allan didn't get much for his birthday but he did get dinner of his choice and cake. Since Trinity was suppose to come earlier (not really just according to me) I was suppose to have time to get Allan something. Father's day one weekend and a birthday the next kind of messed me up. But overall he got a new baby and a good dinner. I love you Allan Happy Birthday!
