Thanksgiving Moab 2011

We went to Moab this year to celebrate Thanksgiving with my dad's family.  It was really fun.  We got to see Aunts and Uncles that we haven't seen in a long time.  We also got to go to Arches.  Allan climbing in a canyon.  He really loves this stuff.
Alex loved fitting inbetween the rocks and saying that we could make it.
Going to sand dune arch.  Had the best time here.
 Cool arch.  Cool picture.
 Nice picture of everyone.
Love this one.  It was too funny.  We would say try this and Alex would say no I can't.  Trinity would pop right in.  I can!  That would make Alex mad because then he would have to do it.
 Got us all.
Cool arch but can't get too close to it.  Easy walk though.
 More pictures
 Notice the drool from Aubrie
Aunt Diane has a tractor room which Alex just loved.  When we got back from the arches he found the tractor.  I think Alex found a new favorite place to visit.
Window arch with Laura, Matt, and Willow.
Alex climbing through a baby arch.
 Another great picture
This is at the double arch.  Alex thought he was so big.  Overall loved it.  Must do when kids can hike on own so we can see delicate arch.  Great time, great weather.

Bonus Room

We finished it!!!  Lots of work, lots of fighting but we finished it.  It looks great and we are trying to enjoy every minute of it.  They shelfs are a big highlight even if I gave Allan a lot of grief about them.  We have to sleep in it the first night.

Here we are painting it.  We had to do primer so we let the kids help with the primer and first coat of paint.  It was fun.  I think Trinity ended up with more paint on her than on the walls but she had fun.
Alex was a hard worker.  He painted with us the whole night and still didn't want to stop.  He had a lot of fun and once he got the hang of it he took off.  Alex and I painted together.  I would do the top he would do the bottom.
Allan did the ceiling.  I helped a little but not much.  I am not tall enough.  He did most of the work.  When Aubrie woke up the was the end of painting for me.
 Hard workers taking a break.
Aubrie loved painting.  Not screamed the whole time.  End of painting for me.
Doing a little of the ceiling.  I had to concentrate on closing my mouth so I wouldn't get paint in them.  I think things are better when you do them yourself.  You kinda appreciate them more.  A job well done.

Halloween 2011

Slow but sure I will catch up.  We grew some great pumpkins this year and Grandma Sue grew even better ones.  So we carved them.  Unfortunately I wasn't feeling well and the kids and Allan got to do it.  But they turned out great.  Alex drew is own face and was able to cut out most of it.
Tabiona always does a great Halloween party so for the party we had Rapunzal (spelling), Optimus prime again, and a duck.  Way cute.
Alex won scariest costume.  Aubrie lasted two seconds in hers and Trinity took off her wing as soon as she could.  The carnival was fun.  The kids enjoyed winning candy.
Then Monday as we were getting ready for Trunk or treating nobody wanted to wear their costume they picked out.  So luckly we have more costumes and now Alex was a Ninja and Trinity clifford the dog.  Whatever works.  We got lucky sunshine and pretty warm weather.  Usually it is snowing or raining.
 Enjoying the candy they collected.
Aubrie loved every minute of it.  She would have loved to been in the candy bowl all night.

We are moving

Yep you read correctly we are moving.  South Carolina here we come.  Well in January.  Allan got the job and we are moving.  It is a good think for Allan and work.  A sad thing to leave our house and friends.  We put a lot of work into the house and just getting things going and now we are leaving.  So if anyone wants to buy a house let them know.
Can you believe I got my house clean enough to take pictures and show a realtor.  Don't worry my office is a mess so no pictures of that.  It is a work in progress.
I will miss our mud room.

Aubrie

Her she is.  Aubrie learned to sit really good at about 6 months or 7 months and it seems like as soon as she learned that she took off.  Here she is sitting on the school carpet.
I had to make the bed and she was really fussy so made it with her in it .  She love it.
I had to bring up some books and Aubrie crawled over to them and had to climb on them.  She just learned how to crawl like the first part of September.  A day later she thought it was time to pull herself up onto things.
Here she is on the train box.  She is so funny and Donovan would do this to.  She gets herself up and then she just screams because she can not get down.  It is too scary for her.
Trinity and Aubrie playing together.  Aubrie must be really hungry and Trinity thinks it is great because a baby she can play with will actually try to eat what she has made.  How much fun these two will have together for many years to come.
I think I have trouble

Where have I been?

So if you follow our blog you probably have been wondering what we have been doing.  It seems like everything.  After the little buckroo rodeo it seems like everything was put into fast mode.  Allan spent lots of time in Altanta for work.  I tell him he played because he was able to go to two baseball games, one to watch the Mets - his favorite team.  On his second trip he got to go to an NFL game.  Before he left we were able to go the the zoo.  They had all these dinosaurs there.  Donovan loved it. Alex was a little scared because they moved and made noise.  After a while you was fine.
We had the baseball banquet at the swimming pool.  Alex put his face in the water all by himself.  I couldn't believe it.  Donovan was going off the diving boards.  He even went on the high dive for the first time.

Trinity had fun playing in the shallow end.  It was too cold for Aubrie to go swimming but she would have loved it.  She is a fish.
So while Allan was gone I started preschool and did peaches.  I did none for we.  These were all Christmas presents for my mom and Laura.  THey already go them because I didn't want them in my house.  So many I forget.  This is just half of what I did.
Then while Allan was in Altanta again Grandma Sue came for a week.  She brought boxes of stuff.  I love the hats, Trinity got a lot of baby blankets and dresses.  Alex was wondering where his dress was.  He just wanted something because Trinity got necklaces too.  Raising 3 girls there wasn't much for Alex.  He got a constalation pillow case.  While she was here my tomatos came.  67 quarts of tomato sauce.  I think I am crazy.

Donovan went back to his Dad's and is in first grade.  He really likes his teacher.  He is reading really well on.  For two months he got to play football.  He liked practices and playing in the mud.

Little Buckaroo Rodeo

So usually we are gone for Tabiona's Little buckaroo Rodeo but this year I made an effort to make it home in time.  Well worth even if in the middle of the day.  Cute picture of my two cowboys.
Donovan was one of the last to ride so after watching many kids go he rode backwards.  He went for a long long ride.
He got a score of 82 taking second place.  He had the choice of a bike with training wheels or 15 dollars.  He choose the money so that he could buy a DS.  The funny thing was is I had to talk him into riding the sheep and look at how good he does.
Alex finally got to ride his sheep.  After a year of waiting he was so excited.  He was a bit nervous but that didn't stop him.  He got right on the sheep when a little past that man in the white cowboy hat, dark shirt, stopped, Alex got off - fell but gracefully - and the sheep went right on.  Now he says he is ready to ride another one and a calf next time.
Handsome Donovan.  Alex was too hot to take a good picture.
