Learning How to ride!

 Once the bike got off the moving truck the training wheels came off.  We started on the road but that was too scary when you fall so we went up to the park.

 The boys scouting it out.  Really dad telling Alex where to look when he is riding and Donovan joining in.  He did so good.  The video wouldn't load.  But Alex is a pro at riding his bike.  It only took him one day to ride and then start himself.  Way to go buddy.

 Trinity learned quickly also.  When she got her bike she couldn't pedal without a push now she can do it all on her own and go fast.

Aubrie is already a pro and can do bmx tricks!  No but it won't be long until she figures out how to ride.  Whatever her older siblings are doing she is doing.

The movers came

 I know this has nothing to do with moving but look at that cute frog hanging out on Allan's grill.  Yep it got over loved once the kids saw it.

 From the last post you can tell what progress I made in the play room.  The kids couldn't wait to get opening all the boxes.

 Master bedroom right side.  Yep Aubrie's bed is over there.  The door leads to the bathroom.

 Left side of master bedroom.  I joke and say left and right side but really it is that big.  Not sure what to do with all the space.  Especially after a 2 bedroom apartment.

 Bathroom.  Wondering where the sinks, tub, and shower are?  Well this room you could have a party in huge room.  Closet is on the other side.  Really big closet too.  Take Utah house and widen it and that gives you size.

 Office - it looks better now but not all done.

Kitchen - yep didn't use the kitchen for a couple of days.  Had to move lots of boxes, lots of jars.  We are building shelves after all the stuff got here due to the fact we have no idea where to put it all.  So shelves are a must.  So that is all.  Things are slowly coming.  I find I get motivated for a little while and then I am done.  I wish I had places or shelves to put it all but I don't - yet so it is going slow.  Soon I hope it will be all out of boxes or at least not so many boxes stacked up.

Grandma Sue visit

 We got in super late the night before because of my inability to type in the correct address in phone and getting lost thinking I know where to go better.  Anyways we made it home and the next day instead of going swimming we played dress up with all thing wonderful thing grandma brought.  Aubrie loved it.

 Of course we have to admire ourselves in the mirror.  The girls were justing playing dress up and the boys playing in the play room but decided to come down and see what was so fun.

The boys just laughed at us for playing dress up but they finally got into it.  These were cabbage patch things made but the boys put them to good use.

Trinity found grandma's sun glasses.  So cool.

Grandma brought the best presents - suckers and zuchinni!!!  Yeah!

We got the bed up just in time for grandma to sleep in so the kids haven't played on it.  Trinity taking advantage of the time while the boys are busy.  Notice the exercise stuff.

It has been pretty nice outside with the storms coming in and out.  Not too humid or hot.  Enjoying an evening on the porch after playing at the park.

Playing grandma's new iphone.

Aubrie loves these posters.  When I first had them out she would point to everyone.

Yep addicted to playing games, if someone is playing iphone or ipad the ds comes out.

Grandma showed the kids how to use the old record player.  It's pretty cool because we have books on them.  I like it, the kids like it, everyone is happy.  So glad grandma came.  Yep the first room mostly unpacked - playroom.

New house

 Well no picture of front of house but here is the inside downstairs.  Upstairs to come.  Front door - entry way.

 Bathroom downstairs.  It is a good size.  And the bedroom downstairs is like a master bedroom.  No pictures because Aubrie was sleeping in it.

 New couches.  We love it.  So much better than sitting on floor.

So now all you decoraters what are we going to do.  Above the mantle I want to do pictures and decorate for each holiday and I was thinking a mirror.  I need to paint the kitchen a different color.  And many other things but all suggestions will be welcomed and loved.

Finally...

 Allan got his grill finally.  This is his first real grill that he got himself.  We had little ones and one that my mom gave us when she moved but this is his.  We love it and living in SC with the heat it has been wonderful in keeping the kitchen cool so the rest of the house is cool.  Happy grilling.

Swimming Lessons

 I know what you are thinking.  How cute!!!!

 Swimming lessons helped Trinity so much.  Before she would never put her face in and never leave the stairs.  After day one she would put face in like that and want to get things from your hand that is further in the water.  She even would adventure to standing on the bottom. 

 Look how far she is under water - she calls it under ground.

 Likes floating on her back but not sure about it still.

 Jumping of the side.  I was hoping she would do it without any hand holding so she went to one hand and then..

 She did it!!!!

 Alex has come a long ways.  Before it was screaming like he got hurt if his face got a drop of water on it.  Now no floating, diving down to the bottom, jumping off sides.  I can't believe it.  Practicing the arms for front crawl.

 Loves the belly float.  Jumping off the diving board was a big deal.  Day one just stood on board and didn't jump, day three had someone drop him in water.  Finally I asked Alex what was scaring him about jumping off diving board?  It's ten deep mom.  Alex you aren't scared of the hieght.  No, it's ten deep.  So we practice off the side and then next day I kinda gently pushed him off without setting him in.  Then day six he did it ....

 Donovan was already a swimmer but now he worked on the technique.  He is getting better everyday.  Look at that form.

 He loves the back stroke the best and butterfly.  He is pretty good at it.

 He did everything the teacher asked to earn jumps off the board.  Loved it.  Great dive.  Nice tricks.
