For Father's Day we went to the beach. Allan loves the ocean. It was a rather windy day but warm weather none the less. The kids found this little pool of water to play in so they didn't have to get rocked by the ways.
Obviously Donovan just really couldn't wait to get in the ocean. Took off like that. Kinda scared me but it had a great time and Allan wasn't too far from him.
You know that little pool of water to play in above. I thought that would be just fine for Miss Aubrie but someone had other plans. I was okay with it seeing how far from the water she was until...
yep after I snapped this picture I really just wanted both of them back to safety. It wasn't bad but those waves are strong. I think I am getting old or have to many kids look at how much I worry.
This beach was sandy. I liked it a lot but not with kids. Sand gets everywhere. Then it gets in eyes and then we wipe our eyes with our sandy hands and on and on and on.
Trinity just had fun playing in the sand. I think after eating salt water the hundredth time see figure the sand was where to be.
Alex getting brave. Towards the end of our stay he was getting his face wet, rolling around, I couldn't believe it. It was funny though when a bigger wave came in he would panic a little.
Aubrie loving the water.
I think they are finding shells. Not really a good beach to find shells. More for the swimming I think.
Just a side note. The beach with kids is not for those who want to relax and catch some waves. The beach with kids is me thinking why am I doing this, Allan come on lets go play in the waves this is so much fun, the kids as they through sand everywhere laughing and giggle as I am more worried how much sand they are getting in there suit and how much sand is going to be on my car. I know relax have fun enjoy but SAND is EVERYWHERE. I did have fun just probably not as much if I would have stopped worrying about the mess.

Edisto Island is a great place to go searching for shells they are all over! I saw your blog off of Traci's. I hope you don't mind!
