Happy 5th Birthday Alex

For Alex's birthday he really want to see an alligator.  So we headed to Savanna Georgia to find alligators.  Luckly it gets to cold here in the winter time for gators.  I am find with that.  First present.
 Bumblebee
Star Wars legos.  Alex also got two jets, a placemat with his hand prints - which he keeps telling everyone that his hands are bigger now (not by much), money for Grandma Sue and Grandpa Kit and Granny Janney - he bought Star Scream transformer which was on sell so he had money left over, and a book.
Trinity so happy that we did not go swimming again before we left the motel.  Look at that face.  We made huge accomplishments in the pool.  It was shallow enough that Alex could touch to almost to the middle of the pool.  So he decided he could jump off the side.  Well he did and sat at the bottom of the pool.  He comes up saying I jumped and sat at the bottom of the pool.  Allan was standing close so I said why not jump and swim to daddy this time.  So Alex who is afraid to get water in his eyes and let go of the side, jumps in and starts to swim.  Are you kidding me.  No pictures due to the fact three kids and two adults in a pool makes for a very buys time.  Trinity made good progress too with her fear of the water.  She calls it going under ground but she put her whole head under.  Amazing.  Then she got to brave and starting walking to the middle of the pool which wasn't good because she wasn't tall enough.  She swallowed some water.  Now Aubrie and water is a different story.   This girl is dangerous.  I think I would take Alex and Trinity's fear of the water than Aubrie's no fear at all.  She was playing on the stairs and nex thing I know she is walking out to me.  Head under water and everything.  I pull her up and she is just smiling.  Not even mad.  We are in trouble.
So on our way to Alligators we thought we would go see the light house that was near by.  Pretty cool.
We got to climb to the very top twice.  It was cool.  Nice and windy but it felt so good.  91 degrees and humid.  No thank you.  I need to find cooler lose fitting clothes with this weather and it isn't even summer yet.

At the beach.  Lots of shells.

 We are up there.
Here is Alex's favorite present the baby alligator.  We just were at some pond and there was an alligator.  We think there was a bigger one but we never got a chance to see it up close.  This one just hung around the dock.  Allan took some awesome pictures - I mean a millon awesome pictures of the alligator.

I think this is a sand crane but once again Allan took awesome pictures of the wildlife.
The kids love the gator and I was just happy we saw it because that made Alex's day.  Happy 5th Birthday Alex!
