If there is snow on Easter why not make the best of it and make a snowman? Waking up to snow is not my favorite oh well. I hurried and made frogeye salad and then we headed out to play in the snow.
Making the bottom for our snow bunny. Alex wouldn't let us run over Grandma. But he got chased instead. Lots of mud. So our bunny became muddy.
Playing around. I was inside finding decorations.
The final product. How many people can say they built a snowman on Easter?

Then it warmed up enough that it toppled over. Oh well but soon to be that night more snow. Did I mention it is April and still snowing?
Dying Easter eggs. Alex wasn't so sure at the beginning but soon got the idea.
Allan and Laura thrilled with dying eggs.
Our master pieces. Kit was very creative and broke out the tape. After it was all said and done I should have brought the crayons out. We made all of them into devil eggs so we didn't get to enjoy them for every long. Just a side note we save the dy and use the water to take baths in. It makes for color baths. Second side note: I just found one egg still in the dy today. Yep Thursday four days later. It is well colored.
