A little Crazyness

Well, I offically think I am crazy and probably my husband thinks I am too. We moved this weekend. Sorry to all those that wanted to help. I wasn't sure we were going to move so I didn't gather anyone. Poor, Allan had to move everything by himself. I helped a little but nothing much but packing boxes. Anyways we are in the house (not finished) but we are in it. This way I can watch the progress and when I can't sleep at least I can get something cleaned in the house. I will post pictures when I can.
Since we moved we have no internet, no phone, and no tv. Yes! No tv. Allan is a little worried but did you know that living in a big house is expensive. Especially when some workers don't know how to shut the door.
Last night we lost Alex for 20 minutes. No worry he was in the house the problem was where? We could here him and he wasn't anywhere he shouldn't be (because I looked there first). It was very intersting and very funny trying to find him. I didn't look hard but I still looked. He wouldn't come out and Donovan the great brother he is was very worried but relaxed after I said it was like hide and seek.

Garbage

This is the garbage just from the electricion. I am tired of garbage and a mess. But really this is about garbage. We are getting ready to move. I told Allan nothing will be moved into our house until we go through every box to make sure that 1) we need it, 2) we will use it, 3) we are saving because it has meaning. If any of these apply I will keep it but I am tired of culter and saving things because we thing we will use it.
Now I think about when we first moved to Duchesne. Our storage shed is full. But after 9 months how much of that stuff do I need or use. I have done without for 9 months is it that important. Yes! there is something in there I wish daily if only I had that but some of it I have no idea why I kept it. I will be keeping all of the pictures and stuff but most of it will fill the garbage.

Our House

We are getting closer to move in day. Well, at least I am. I am moving Saturday. If that means into my house or just the garage I am still moving. We, mostly Allan worked really hard this past weekend to finish the shower. We were having Kyle do it but he got too busy with his real job so we took it over. We just have to grout and seal.

Allan wanted to paint our walk in area red or yellow but I won't do yellow so red won. It looks really good.

The painters still have to come and stain the railing but I love it and the boys love it because now they can go anywhere in the house.

Fishing

Last weekend, well two weekends ago we took a break from working on our house and spent some time fishing. It was a lot of fun. We came up empty handed but it was fun. The first night we went was perfect, no wind, warm, and sunny. We didn't spend a lot of time fishing, well Allan did but Donovan found rock climbing was fun. Alex was quite the fisherman but if brother isn't fishing he isn't either. I forgot my camera the first night so no pictures. It would have been the best night for pictures but oh well.

Allan bound and determined to catch a fish. Alex in the back through rocks. That was helping.
Walking to the truck

Alex fishing. We did buy him his own pole but he broke it and Allan still needs to fix it.

Conversation between a 4 year old and a 2 year old

This last weekend has been mad. Crazy busy. We have been rushing around to get our master shower done so that we can move into our house this weekend. We needed tile for the corner of our shower so I ran to Park City with the two boys while Allan continued work. Here is a conversation between Alex and Donovan.
Donovan: Alex look out your windown there is a lot of snow.
Alex: No
Donovan: Alex, yes there is and it is snowing outside.
Alex said firmly with a finger pointing: No!
Donovan: Alex there is too snow outside. Mom there is snow outside and it is snowing.
Mom: Yes, Donovan.
Donovan to Alex: Alex all you know how to say is no, no, no, no.
Alex: No, no, no
Mom: Donovan we should sing a yes song not a no song.
Donovan: Yes, yes, yes, yes,
Alex: yes
Mom: We just have to teach Alex how to say yes instead of no.
After listening to several conversations like this on the way to Park City and a little bit on the way home before they fell asleep I now believe that Alex hears no too much because I or Allan say it a lot and Alex has figured that is the only word he is going to say. Mind you he can talk. He just chooses not to.

Donovan's Back

Yeah!! Donovan's home.
We got to the airport with little time to spare which is amazing because usually I am there forever early biting my nails wiating for him to come. This time he came off the plane and while I was giving him a hug Alex ran over and gave Donovan a big hug. I was afraid Alex wouldn't remember Donovan or not bee to excited but that was not the case. Now the next day Alex wasn't so sure he was glad his big brother was home. We got home late that night and Donovan was out. I put him in his bed and Alex crawled in bed too. But Alex didn't sleep he played. As you can tell.
Sunday we went to the house and worked and played in the dirt yard. It was fun. Alex didn't like getting all muddy but Donovan loved it.
We got Hadley, our dog, after working all day. What am I thinking? It was nice to have her finally but I just not sure about all the time it is going to take to train her. The boys like her but Alex isn't sure he still likes her because she jumps on him. That is the first thing that has to change. Last night she did great by herself. She was in our mud room. Barked at 7:00 to go outside but was fine all night. Today she was ready to get out of her cage when we got home but now I just can't put her back in but remember she wasn't going to be an inside dog. Well I think I am being proved wrong. More adventures to come.

Getting ready for Donovan

Well, when Donovan left last time we were suppose to be in our house before he returned. So I moved Alex into our room because our room stays warmer than his room and but boxes and dressers in Donovan's room. I also packed up all his clothes and his bed. Since we didn't move I had a problem on my hand. Where am I going to put Donovan's bed. In our room or clear out the boys room again. Well with a little more arranging we have three beds in our room and four dressers in the other room with all the boxes still in them. Who has a dresser room and a bed room in a two bedroom house with four people in it. I think I am crazy. But we are ready for Donovan. Alex thinks it great to have the other bed in our room becaue he thinks he can sleep in it. We tried it one night but he didn't stay in bed. Nice try Alex!
